Hey GC members, the beginning of the school year is almost upon us and this signals the beginning of new club events. I would like to propose an idea. What if we held sort of a book club like get-together for specific video games.

The event would be held in much the same way as a book club in that members would play an agreed-upon game before the weekly meeting and then talk about the game on the date of the meeting. After discussions have ceded, next week's game would be randomly chosen -- or something to that effect -- and members would then play that game over the course of the week to prepare for next week's meeting.

To go more in depth about the financials of this event, games would be bought on a Gaming Community steam account with pooled money from all participating members. Members would then be able to log in to the account individually, download the game, and then go offline. The hope is that we would not enter AAA or long game titles into the random draw, so this system should be sufficient.
