When really it should say "NotNihilanth's" these days.

This is my Steam Group for friends or just those who think I'm a cool guy (for some reason). Here I post announcements about life updates, accomplishments and other junk that I find intriguing. Consider this to be my blogging ground.

Rules

Keep drama and issues from other places away: this group is not associated with literally anything that I'm a part of. Scream in the respective spaces or in my profile instead.
Don't be a stalker: sure, I can't really fight this, but please don't bother using this group as a source to be a massive creep towards its members.
Have common sense: if you're going to start an argument over every single petty little issue you better win all of them.

Try Not To Panic

Been a while, I keep remembering that it's been a decade since I started console scripting in source games. Thought I'd drop this quickie announcement in.

Ten years is a long while. When I first started in HL2DM I made basic scripts without many advancements for 2 years, after which I moved on to TF2 and tried to bypass ent_fire through the use of outputs on different entities. That's when I discovered logic entities, and the whole IO system used for mapping. Obviously I took off, I just didn't expect to be so far ahead.

Seeing people talk about me is weird. I'm old and tired and I don't have any more energy left, really. VScript is obviously the next step, but these days I prefer to script alone, away from public sv_cheats servers. Guess we'll see how far I go with that.

Here's to another 10, yeah?

I lived. Sorry for the anticlimactic announcement, but I'm back, for now.
