Sk is one of the favourites to take this tourney. They are the world best team atm and want to win even more. Sk is meeting boot from singapore in the first round. Sk has a history in struggling a bit in the first game of groupstages but this always occured against somewhat capabel oponents. Boot is just not near the level sk is. Space soldiers did upset Sk in the first round in the group stage of esl one cologne but to set this into perspective, spacesoldiers is even like 3 tiers better then boot who aren't even considerd really good in their actuall region. I think the sk players are just more skilled and know how to play the game properly without showing their full effort. I can't see boot putting up a fight here. Sk can stomp boot even if they decide to go almost full pug mode. This should be one of the games with the highest skillgaps in a bigger tourney since a long time ago. I see sk winning this game with boot getting 5-6 rounds max and therfore I predict Sk to win -8.5 rounds @2.00 odds.

First offline event for the new faze lineup. Faze did pretty okay in their first pro league week and already showed some potential. NiP played 4 games loosing 3 in epl witch the one win being against navi on mirage. Form wise faze should have a little edge but I don't really think pro league performance can say so much about performance at lan. This game gets pretty interesting with the new implied coaching rules. I think NiPs playstyle will be diffrent with threat being able to coach again. FaZe won't benefit from that too much I think since karrigan will call the shots as he does ever since. I think this game will get more interesting than the odds might let you think. NiP to win at 3.20 is a steal here. They might benefit from the change in coaching situation and all it takes is like f0rest having a good performance and they can upset faze here.

Both teams lost their first game and because we finaly got some other format then swiss format they will play for their tournament life now. I see this game as 50/50. FaZe embarassed themselves against nip. To let nip play nuke is just stupid imo. Same for mouz. Letting gambit have their best map is just beyond me. I think this game will be decided on who will show up and I think this could go either way. Therefore we pick mouse as the underdog on 2.50 odds.

Envy vs Fnatic

Another 50/50 match right here. Fnatic lost close against immortals while Envy did so against G2. I think Envy played better then fnatic because G2 is the better team compared to Immortals. All Envy plyaers were at a bigger lan already whereas golden plays his first real lan. I think this is 50/50 with maybe a little edge to envy. I think they will take this and their odds are at 2.4.
