Who would like to help me develop the Metro North Hudson Line?
Hello fellow railfans, I was thinking for a while, and I decided that I would like to create the Metro North Railroad Hudson Line for Train Simulator. I have no plans of this taking a short amount of time to create, or being 100% accurate, as with the route editor, we have limited objects, so I/we will have to work with what we have. If anyone is interested in helping, I will need people who can:
-Place objects/scenery according to real life
-Place signals, speed limits and track signs
-Send me updates via email or Dropbox
-Easily use the Train Simulator 2017 route builder
-Use station objects so creating stations will take less time

I plan to lay down the track, but I don't really know how to use Google Earth, so if someone can assist me with that, that would be wonderful.

Please remember that not everyone has every DLC, so we don't have everything in the world to use.

Here are the routes I plan to use:
-NEC: New York to New Haven
-North Jersey Coast and Morristown Lines
-NEC: New York to Philidelphia
-Peninsula Corridor
-Stevens Pass
-Miami to West Palm Beach

Trains that can be used:
-Metro North P32AC-DM
-Amtrak P42DC
-Metro North M7 (reskin of M8 by Bagged_Gamer)
-New Haven FL-9 (I do NOT have this, but it can still be used)
-CSX rolling stock (can be used to replace NYAR)
-Metro North M8 (for special service)

If you are interested, please DM me and I will give you further information.

Thanks!

One thing, Thunderbolt_78 is already doing the empire corridor, so you should contact him to continue working on that line. He is doing it from NY Penn - Albany trackage and scenery. If you want it to be an original project, maybe TS: World well in the future. It will be a struggle since from your videos your computer isn't the best.

@Blue_Fred What does my videos and video quality have to do with making a route?

Not with railworks, I am saying that Thunderbolt_78 is already doing the project and if you want to be original do it in TS: World, but idk if your pc can handle it.

#explained (P.S. I also recommend discussing this with thunderbolt_78)

@Blue_Fred What would be the point of making it in TSW? There are only CSX trains (unless they add more trains)

I have tried reaching out to thunderbolt_78 but I never got a response from them

Ok then, I have nothing more to say. Just a question, do you want to do the empire corridor (NY - Albany) or just Hudson Line (NY-Poughkeepsie)

I was going to do from Croton Harmon to New York (including NY Penn and Grand Central), and extend to Poughkeepsie later on

If you are serious about doing this, hit me up privately and I can hook you up with some stuff that'll help.
