Mindnight Coronavirus "CV" 2020 Invitational

This steam group acts to organize the first attempt at making Mindnight more competitive. 10-15 players have been handpicked and will face against each other in 15 games of Mindnight spread over 3 days. You gain a set amount of points for a win and each day you face against players in your point bracket. The date is currently set for May 10th to May 13th, with a three day break, continuing on May 17th.

Mindnight CV 2020 Invitational Tournament Format

The tournament is set to take course over five days, with three games being played each day. A total of fifteen games will be played by each player. The tentative dates for the tournament will be May 10th to May 13th (four days), with the final games being played on May 17th. Dates may be subject to change, but for now they are set and final.

Day 1 (May 10th) - You are randomly grouped with four other players. You will play three games with these players, earning:
- 5 points for a hacker win
- 6 points for an agent win
- 1 point for either an agent loss or a hacker loss

Day 2 (May 11th) - You are now grouped with players that have similar scores as you. You will play three games with these players, earning:
- 6 points for a hacker win
- 7.2 points for an agent win
- 1 point for either an agent loss or a hacker loss

Day 3 (May 12th) - You are regrouped again, based on points gained from the first two days combined. You will play three games with these players, earning:
- 7 points for a hacker win
- 8.4 points for an agent win
- 2 points for either an agent loss or a hacker loss

Day 4 (May 13th) - You are regrouped again, based on points gained from the previous days. You will play three games with these players, earning:
- 8 points for a hacker win
- 9.6 points for an agent win
- 2 points for either an agent loss of a hacker loss

Three day break (May 14th, May 15th, May 16th)

Day 5 (May 17th) - You are once again regrouped, based on points earned from all previous days. You will play three final games with these players, earning:
- 9 points for a hacker win
- 10.8 points for an agent win
- 2 points for either an agent loss or a hacker loss

All points gained from the five days of playing will be added together, resulting in your final score. However, it’s possible to lose points if rule violations occur.
