Battletech Kickstarter has ended reaching over 1000% of it's funding goal and all the stretch goals including expanded single player campaign and PVP arena multiplayer. All thanks to Battletech and mecha fans who heard the call of the franchise that many thought was dead and buried.

Even our Halloween pumpkin helped in unlocking community goals.

This is a great news for all mecha fans and I'll try to follow this project closely in the future.
The bad news is we will have to wait till 2017 to see it and at least till next year for a look at the beta version. I'll probably do some posts about older Battletech games in the near future while we wait. Meanwhile, time to dig into those Battletech technical readouts.

Another big kickstarter ending today was the (official) Muv Luv localization project and this one too exceeded all expectations. Securing enough funds to publish enhanced versions of ML Visual Novels: Muv-Luv, ML unlimited and ML Alternative on PC Vita and Android. In addition bringing the massive official ML Codex and even two compilations of side stories never before available outside PS3 consoles.
As you can see Muv-Luv launch in fall 2016 will be something to see.

On a side note Muv-Luv publisher - Sekai Project, are also releasing Sierra Ops later this winter. Sierra Ops is a total remake of the 2D space combat game Operation SD : Space Defense.

Things are looking up on the mecha front. Let's wish the new projects the best of luck.
