Can't start Multiplayer

Hey guys I have a problem: I can't start the multiplayer of the game. I can play the campaign without any problems. But when i klick on multiplayer there comes the error-message: "HOMM3 2.0.exe funktioniert nicht mehr" (HOMM3 2.0.exe doesnt work any more). And then the game quits.
Has anybody else the same problem or can help me?

I can only recommend try to change language to english maybe it will help. Also you need to have opened ports on your firewall if u have it

i have the same problem. and i have bit defender, so that is the problem the fire wall ?? or what is the solution

i got the same problem and ive tried lots .. but for now nada its not a problem the firewall or the antivirus.
i did recive the game as a gift form my cousin in italy and i tryed soon we where ready to play online boom he was fine and me not at the end he start a game with his dad trough internet and works /////////

so no solution for this problem ??? my eror is the same :((( and i tried to make exeption for antivirus an no good :((
