My Theory about MK.
Ever since MK Armaggedon and MK 9 came out, people are still getting confused about what the hell happened in the fight for Blaze and why the hell things occured that way. This is my theory of explaining A LOT of stuff. So here's the thing: in Armaggedon, we see the characters at their max level, since MK Armaggedon was the further we got into the time. You may be thinking: But what about MK X? MK X passes at the time of MK4 since it reseted, Armaggedon is the further we got timewise, the it reseted. So, considering each warrior trained and got more powerful over time, we can use MK Armaggedon lore for matchups. We know because of MK 9 that Sub-Zero killed Scorpion at their max level in Armaggedon and that Kung Lao killed Baraka. So, Sub-Zero against Scorpion both at their max = Sub-Zero. Noob Saibot at his max defeats Sub-Zero, and Shao Kahn defeats Raiden. Anyone familiar with the multiverse theory knows that until it has been changed, every possibility counts, anyone who watched Back to the Future 2 knows that when past changes, everything may change, but some things will forever stay the same. Let me give a example: Lets say I love a girl and we marry and stay together for the end of our lives. In another universe, I still love that girl because our love is almost fate. Get it? Now, until past has changed, the universe will stay the same and continue until it has been undone. Noob Saibot had been defeated in the fight against the Forces of Light, while the only living beings after the fight being Shao Kahn and Shinnok, because Shao Kahn killed Raiden, Onaga and got the power from Blaze and Shinnok didn't die, so he probably fled to Hell or something. Now think with me: Even being the only two fighters we know from Mortal Kombat still alive, they probably would still want to dominate. Shinnok would just ressurect his greatest fighters to fight for him. We know that Noob Saibot is stronger than Sub-Zero, and Sub-Zero is on par with Scorpion. Sub-Zero and Scorpion, both are considered to be on par with Liu Kang, the champion of Earth who defeated Shao Kahn. Noob then is STRONGER than Liu Kang, only being defeated by Night Wolf in MK9 because he was thrown in a soulnado, if they were into a fight to the death without Area uses, ( Final Destination, had to. ) Noob Saibot would win. Noob is STRONGER than Liu Kang, repeating my sentence. Liu Kang defeated Shinnok, Shao Kahn, Shang Tsung and many other powerful foes. If Noob is stronger than Liu, he sure as hell could take on Shao Kahn and Shinnok. Shao Kahn defeated Onaga that is Immune to magic, even though Shao Kahn's main power comes from magic. Now, since we have a few years yet to talk about in the still remaining universe of the original MK, Shinnok ressurected Noob Saibot, who promised loyalty as he always do just to backstab Shinnok. Noob kills Shao Kahn, proving to be the Ultimate Fighter and brings his head to Shinnok. Shinnok is impressed as how the Ninja had become powerful since he DEFEAT HIM AS SUB-ZERO. Wait wait wait, NOOB SAIBOT BEFORE TURNING INTO NOOB SAIBOT AND BECOMING POSSIBLY THE MOST POWERFUL BEING IN THE MK UNIVERSE, HE DEFEATED QUAN CHI AND SHINNOK SINGLE HANDEDLY AT HELL WHERE THEY GAIN MORE POWER??? Noob Saibot had already won before he started to be strong. Noob Saibot being Netherrealm's strongest fighter, he would CERTAINLY be ressurected to fight against Shao Kahn in the fight for the domination of the rest of Earthrealm and the other realms. Defeating Shinnok and becoming the ultimate chammpion of Mortal Kombat, Noob Saibot had become the lord and supreme ruler of the whole Universe... Except that everything would fade away and this would all prove to nothing except that Noob is a complete badass. The only thing that defeats Noob Saibot is time travel and unstoppable fate.
