- Mount & Blade Warband. Fun RPG/Medieval warfare game that I have sunk way too many hundreds of hours into. Impossible to actually finish on an LP, but I think Lilia would enjoy it. Although the combat system takes some getting used to, it's pretty fun and addictive once you get it down. Start as a nobody adventurer and work your way up the feudal ladder.
- FTL. Perfect style of game for this channel.
- Hitman: Blood Money. Best of the series and doesn't take itself too seriously despite the subject matter. Many options to complete missions, goofy disguises and dialogue, can go full stealth or guns blazing.
One last recommendation that probably won't happen: Drakan: the Ancients' Gates. This is actually a PS2 game, so it would require an Xbox or PS3 controller, disk and emulator but I've seen someone post a poor LP of it, so I think it can be done. It's one of my favorite games of all time. Great hack and slash RPG-lite adventure game. Lilia, I will actually mail my copy of this game to a PO box if you can figure out the emulation. I've never met anyone who's played it, so watching a good Let's Player take it on would be fantastic. That said, you've got enough recommendations that I know this is probably too much of a pain in the ass to happen.
Seconded! :)
Furthermore, I'd also be interested in watching a playthrough of Hitman: Blood Money one day.
Great suggestions! Dark Forces II might be next on GSM. ;)
And this is an interesting challenge you are proposing! I will look into Drakan, I've never heard of it but I do plan to play console games on the channel when I can afford it and/or figure out a setup to record them. There are lots of great old console games I missed out on and I intend to experience them! =D
Thanks for posting!
Awesome! I think you'd like Drakan. You get to fly around on a dragon. Who can complain? But yeah it was an unsuccessful game that didn't get many copies made so it's not well known. Damn shame. And DFII is one of my favorite shooters. Looking forward to it.
Speaking of console games, if you're eventually able to record them for your channel, have you ever played Silent Hill 2, and if not, would you consider doing a GSM playthrough of the game? I played through SH2 years back and I enjoyed it quite a bit. The controls are a little bit clunky, but the game does have a creepy atmosphere and it depicts really interesting monster designs IMO. :)
Also, to add onto my own suggestions, I'm currently playing Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy for the first time and this game is tons of fun~ :D Would love to see you play this game eventually, if you're at all interested. :) Might also be a good choice for a streaming session, since it's conveniently divided into rather small and usually fast-paced missions.
And hooray for a future GSM on Dark Forces II! :D
Yes I want to play Silent Hill! Never played them. Can't wait to get a console set up. :)
I noticed you were playing Jedi Academy and was curious about it. Thanks for mentioning it! I will check it out, I like the idea of doing it on a stream. :D
Hi Isaac! Thanks for the suggestions. :)
heehe ;)
