A Little About Us...

Hey There! Welcome to the Team! I’m Hooligan, my real name’s Tony, and I’m doin’ my best to save a video game. Do y’all remember that old version of Rust? Legacy? We’ll that game is one of my all time favorites, and after a few months of having my PC in storage, I decided to take it back out to play. I discovered that I had missed legacy by just a few days- that in the late november update of the current Rust, the Beta version was removed.

If you want to hear the who, what, when, where, and why’s of that whole thing, check out the some of the discussions below. But Here’s our main goal:

We aim to gather a group of dedicated Rust Legacy fans, and work to either get the Beta added back to Rust, have it release as its own title, purchase the source code and develop it ourselves, or make a similar game from scratch. As many of you long time rust players know, that game was special, even with its glitches bugs and hacks, it didn't deserve to die like it did.


As a quick disclaimer, I do enjoy the current version of Rust. While the developers have, several times, gone in a different direction that what I wanted (such as the switch from legacy and more recently some of the xp updates), its still a fantastic game and I recommend it to everyone.
