Oct Week 1 post-mortem; Week 2 agenda

Week 1 came and passed; it was quite the struggle. The technical issues, changing servers back to Texas IV (by majority vote), and dealing with some internal politics prevented us from having a strong head start. Once we were stable on Texas IV, about the only successful thing we did was the initial land grab and blowing off some steam. We're going into week 2 and by this time, our enemies were supposed to be licking their wounds; unable to act against us as we spread our perimeter further and reinforce the inner walls. What we do have: a large foothold, plenty of quarries/pumpjacks, a non-fortified main base, and 0 raiding supplies. Let's buckle up and see what week 2 holds for us.

Week 2 Goals:

the first floor of the main base needs to be Armored tier
an inner ring needs to be established; either stone high walls or castle ramparts
ramping up production on rockets/c4

Week 2 is habitually a raiding week for the server. Expect a lot more pvp activity; could mean some lucky scores for those who roam the wilds or us seeing conflict at our doorstep. The 5th floor and up of Main Base is being converted into the Officers Lounge. Any supplies stored below will not be tampered with by Officers, but any above are to be distributed by Officers as seen fit. As a note, these will be resources the Officers will have collected and pooled on their own and not taken from anyone else. We're having a resource attrition problem; this is going to fix it.

I think we should play on the same server [Texas Facepunch IV: HapisIsland]. I found out that blueprints do not transfer between servers, any decent moderated server has too low of player slots/population, and usually ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ loot drop rates. We're gonna run with Zeal's (LKB Discord) base concept at the delta, where Aliados's base was during September's map reset.

Week 1 objectives:

Construct footprint of base; 2 stories min, quarrys/jacks, high walls
Amass arsenal
Profit

We're gonna set up dominance in the area immediately and also bait SS/FMG/Tx into early action. LKB has twice the man/Swedishmaid-power of their groups and they have never once beat us legitimately in the wilds of Hapis Island. This will accomplish two major things (in addition to us having a good time): Firstly, make 'em burn their resources at a faster rate while we out-pace them economically. Secondly, the hackers will surface and hopefully get the ban hammer dropped on them.

Tangentially, there's been a bit of salt all around. Let's get it out of our system for server wipe and come back in our usual semi-disorganized fashion to spread the word of the Great Jingly One. For He is the key to salvation.
