[International] Academy 4 Dead (Inactive)
A4D

Academy 4 Dead is a group intended for long-term mentoring of dedicated players and teams. The owner of the group and chief mentor, Dragon, utilises various teaching methods such as one-on-one training sessions, strict observation of performance in pugs or scrims, and simple consultations over Steam and/or Mumble.

A4D has joined forces with L2L in order to present a more dynamic approach to community-wide mentoring. Left 2 Learn will offer newer players the chance to begin their journey into the competitive scene by playing pugs with similar players. Some pugs will be observed by a mentor for each side, while others will be guided by mentors who play for the teams. Some players will choose to play more pugs and integrate themselves into community hubs such as Hot Mess. But a few players might wish to learn more and at a quicker rate, most likely with the intention of either joining or creating a team in order to compete in official competition; that is where Academy 4 Dead enters the equation.

But be warned: going through training in A4D is no picnic. You will be screen-tested by Dragon for a period ranging between one to two weeks, to see if you're prepared to commit to your training. You see, he's happy to help out for those want it but he's also a busy guy, so you have to REALLY want it and back up your words with appropriate action. Too many potential students say many things but don't actually get to the critical 'doing' part of what they say they want. You've got to be the minority that is congruent with what you say and do, and that's what you must prove during your induction into the group.
