We know that in the Bible it talked about how the angels came to the woman of the earth and started to breed with them, causing the birth of the nephilim who were giants. And not only that, the animals gave birth to abominations and which I believe God needed the flood not only for the corruption of mans hearts, but also the extinction of the abominations that were half angel and half human/animal.

4Q531 Frag. 2 - they defiled [they begot] giants and monsters they begot, and, behold, all [the earth was corrupted . . . ] with its blood and by the hand of which did not suffice for them and they were seeking to devour many the monsters attacked it.

Well, mainly because it was discovered centuries later, but above all untill 1800 humans werent able to understand its importance, for both linguistic and cultural reasons.
If you've known about it for quite long time but still havent read it... well, it's time to do so, then your heart and your brain will feel and judge its content :)

Eventhought it must be interpreted, that book contains an incredible amount of "celestial knowledge", if you allow me this word.

I apologize for not seeing this post, but if you're still interested, here's a few tips I would do myself,
1. Start saying the Our father prayer, if you don't know the prayer then here;
Our Father,
Who Art in Heaven,
Hollowed be thy name,
Thy Kingdom done,
Thy will be done,
On Earth, as it is in Heaven,
Give us Our Day,
Our Daily Bread,
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us,
But leave us not into temptation,
But Deliver us from Evil
Amen.
Try to say this prayer in the morning and at night before bed.

2. Read and study the Bible, I don't know if you have a Bible, but it can easily be brought in a book store or online, but if you don't want to do neither of that then you can always read a free version of the Bible online. You don't have to read the whole Bible, just read some verses some days to help you get in touch with the Word. You can also read my 'how to study/read the Bible' on the pinned topic page as well.

3. Live the way Christ intended. It's not that hard to do, just be a good moral person that don't condone violence. And also being a Christian is to repent, ask God for your forgiveness, when you sin. Being a Christian doesn't make you a good person, Christians are somewhat like everyone else, they sin like everyone else. This is why when he pray, we ask to repentance.

4. To live a moral Christian life, try following his Ten Commandments. Here it is;
1. You shall have no other gods before Me. (Don't worship gods, as you worship only one true God)
2. You shall not make idols (Don't create any idols before God, like over obsessing about video games and celebrities.)
3. You shall not take the name of your LORD your God in vain. (Don't say anything like Oh my g... or stuff like that)
4. Remember the Sabbath day, keep it holy. (Pray and worship him on Sundays)
5. Honor your father and your mother (Respect parents)
6. You shall not murder
7. You shall not commit adultery (Don't cheat on wife)
8. You shall not steal
9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor (Don't lie)
10. You shall not covet (To be envy of not having something)

Well, that's all I have for now, try to do this in your daily life and see how you like it. Yes, there are limitations you have to do as Christian, but that is to create a better person for ourselves. Yeah I really dont celebrate holidays, me and my family come together during Thanksgiving and everyone has to say what their thankful for and what God has given them. Also the second one is Christmas, we dont decorate or believe in Santa. But we do the same thing for Thanksgiving.

haha, everyone forgets a verse. What I do is write my favorite verses on sticky notes inside my Bible. It really helps!

Hey, if you have a few moments to spare, I want to tell you how God loves you. It says in Romans 5:8, "But God proved his own love for us in this way, while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." I want you to understand something, none of us deserves Gods love or passion. But yet, God sent his only begotten son to die for us on the cross. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life," John 3:16. Jesus was born just to die for complete strangers whom he would know that they would sin over and over again on a daily basis. We all sin every single day. Jesus even died for the people that would ignore and wouldn't even be in a relationship with him. But if we call in the name of Jesus, all of our sins and doubts will be forgiven, because in Christ, we are a new creature. And remember this verse, 2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" And don't let people say that you are not able to change, because God knew you even before you were born. "For I well know the thoughts that I am thinking toward you, declares Jehovah, thoughts of peace, and not of calamity, to give you a future and hope." Jeremiah 29:11. You see, even though you have been through rough waters, and tough times, God was still there with you the whole time. You may seem like a really bad thing happen to you, but God will use that thing to make a new path for you, for a path that you can walk on and be a new person who turned away from his past sins, like drinking, pornography, hate, etc. You only need to call on his name to help you. And hes waiting for you.

Not many people have touched on this subject, so ill try my best to. Lots of people don't want to read the word of God because they are either don't believe it, or are confused by it.

1. Read different versions of the Bible that suits you, they are false writings and teachings in some, but you're going to have to start somewhere just how a baby will have to eat or he will starve. And make sure you have a mixture of other versions of the Bible to compare verses to see how one says it verses the other, if one if you like one of the versions, use it.

2. You need to find your favorite spots in the Bible, for me, its Psalms, Proverbs, and some of the Newer Testaments, that's because all of them have motivational verses when your sad, angry, depressed, defeated, exhausted, or weaken.

3. Write down your verses and read them over again. Or as in Moses told us to do, 'put scriptures in little boxes and tie it to our heads.' Strap the Bible to your forehead as well. Memorize your verses so when you are in trouble, you know the exact verse in the Bible to read. Say your verses out loud in your head and post Psalms verses on your mirror. Know it by heart when you wake up, and find more verses to read. Just as God told Ezekiel 'eat the scroll, and fill your stomach with it.'
