I'm sure it could be, since it's a turn based game, like most mobile games are. And you could get little notifications when the move has been processed.

For now, I'm just excited that there are going to be other people on to play against in a little bit! xD

That's good! I was also concerned with how long it took for each turn. The connection issues have gotten a lot better than when the game released at least. xD Connectivity issues seem like they're always the toughest to hammer out.
A mobile version would be pretty cool, the only problems I would see would be finishing the game, I could see a lot of people quitting.

I know there must be some others out there. What're your guys' first impressions on Interplanetary? Have you been playing it long, or gotten into many matches?

I've gotten to play a few matches with some of my friends, and I'd have to say it's really fun for those who like to set up detailed strategies to be the supreme ruler of the solar system, and also for those like me who are perfectly satisfied with each small victory that comes my way, regardless of the ultimate outcome.
I love the concept of the game, and besides the small hiccups with matchmaking when it was first released, I haven't run into many game changing bugs or glitches that I can think of yet. And I'm really excited for when they release the AI. Things seem a lot easier to coordinate with strangers you may encounter in the lobby since they added chat functionality as well. (Occasionally I'll start a lobby, "Join In!" and leave Interplanetary up for 15-20 minutes while I browse Facebook or whatever in the case someone might happen to pick up my call, like I'm looking for E.T. with a satellite dish.)

So what're your guys' first thoughts? Interests Concerns?

So, I imagine there must be other less active players lurking around waiting for someone else to pipe up about matchmaking and whatnot, like I've been doing. And I also figured, the more discussion we get going on here, the more likely we can get our friends to want to join in and play too, right? :)

To be perfectly honest, I'm not available a whole lot at the moment since Destiny just released, and so lately when I've recieved requests to play, I've been afk. But I thought, maybe we can see if we can get to know each other just enough to see who's available to play when we've got some free time.

I work customer support for a video game console, so throughout the work week I may be less inclined to play, but am generally on 7AM-11AM UTC (11PM-3AM PST). Though, on the weekends I'm on around 10PM-12AM, and 7AM-11AM UTC. (or 2PM-4PM, and 11PM-3AM PST). Forgive me if my conversions are off.
