My scouts have reported an abandoned camp with a Seleucid banner in the middle of it. His party were shot by Persian light archers hiding in the trees near the camp and also reported being chased by Cataphracts. He escaped with his life and his information has been a crucial factor in knowing the area around Jerusalem. His estimation of the army that awaits us in ambush is around two to three thousand. These cataphracts have not been seen before and will be a very tough enemy to defeat. I will request that Aculeo's legion be brought up to aid in defeating this foe.

Egyptian Deserters captured

The 8th Legion manuvered behind the Egyptian army from the Nile and cut off any form of retreat possible. The number of captured soldiers could be from 25-89 men approximately, and were sold directly into slavery. Now that the Nile is secured and the Egyptian army destroyed, we may move to capture Jerusalem.

Further scouting reports will be due to be announced in the future.
