Hello festive friends :)

We are now 12 days away from the SSS!

In celebration of this there will be something different about the server for the next 12 days. Something different every day.

So make sure you are getting on the server for the next 12 days so you don't miss out!

Hello fellow [SSS] crew!

A couple of matters this evening:

1.) If you do not know who you are purchasing for, please contact either myself or Becky!

2.) Now I know that over the next few weeks Steam will tempt you with various cut-price goodies, but IT IS A TRAP SENT TO RUIN THE SSS! Please refrain from purchasing anything on your wishlist upto the conclusion of the SSS as you may inadvertently ruin your present! Stay strong!

It's that time of year again and with only 7 weeks 'til Christmas the SSS is officially launched amidst great excitement and enthusiasm. Huzzah!

Event Guidelines:

1: You have until Wednesday the 30th of November to enter your name to take part or to withdraw your name.

2: The SSS will be drawn on Thursday the 1st of December and each giver will be messaged with thier recipient's name.

3: You then have until 8.59pm on event night ( 9pm Saturday the 18th of December) to purchase your gift. The maximum limit will be £5 and all gifts must be bought via Steam to allow gifting/trading on event night.

4: When the event has started we encourge people to play xmas songs only (please!) to get the festive atmosphere going and to treat each other in the spirit of the season. Prepare your HLDJ folders in advance, guys!

5: At around 9.30pm on event night we will all gather on Point A and the giving will begin. A system will be put into place for the order of giving to help minimise any chaos!

Notes:

If you are thinking about giving the "gift of game" please ensure that when purchasing said game you select the option "store in my inventory for later use" so you can actually gift the game on the night instead at the time of purchase.

Gift wrap will be optional for in game items so it's up to you whether you budget gift wrap into your £5, feel festive and add it as an extra on top of your budget or obtain some through nefarious or creative means!

One last thing, if you're joining in with this event please show your support and help spread the word by wearing a [SSS] tag on your name :)
