Tutorial: Combat System and Unit Production
*In order to update your armies, you must contact an admin. Please do not be indecisive when contacting an admin, and have a plan in mind.

*If BOTH parties agree to another method to play the battle (i.e. Total War battles), it is acceptable, but both sides must agree to the results.


General Information Regarding Unit Production:

1. Land units take 3 days to produce

2. Naval units take 6 days to produce

3. All land and naval units require both resources and money to upkeep and raise them. If you are in deficit of a resource your country will automatically import them from the world market. If you cannot afford resources, your military will be in threat to either revolt or desert. Keep an eye on the international market for more info.

5. Unit costs, values, and stats are subject to change over time - this will be done by an admin.

6. All Units will have a single payment cost which will be done automatically once you buy a unit after the first turn.

8. Description of what all stats mean
Siege - Only meant for siege rolls
Attack - Firepower
Defence - Ability to withstand attacks
Support- Ability to attack in Far range attackes (e.g Artillery firing open friendly infantry to attack enemy infantry in the rear)
Discipline- Ability to withstand losses and deal damage effectively
Strength- How many men are in each regiment (BY DEFAULT 3,000)
Maneuver - How far a unit can attack diagnolly. 1 Maneuver means you can only attack foward and 1 space diagnolly, 2 maneuver means 2 spaces diagnolly, 3 mean 3 spaces diagnolly.

Speed- Only used for calculating troop movements, long story short, more speed means faster units.
Hull - Abitlity to withstand attacks navally
Firing Range - How far ships can attack
Strength - How much a ship can withstand before sinking
Support - How effective they are at long range attacks

9. With regards to movement time. We will follow a formula...

9.1 For land movement, we will use the slowest unit the army holds and Search up in Google how long it takes to get from point A to point B the ruler of the designated army is marching to and multiply it by 2. Then we will take the speed modifier and up it by the value of Speed.

EXAMPLE
Walking from Vienna to Munich takes 83 hours. We will multiply this by two making it 166 Hours. Then we will take slowest unit of the moving army (Artillery has a speed of 6. Thus 166 hours will be 166 * 1.6 (60%). making it 265 Hours. There are 11 days in 265 Hours. This means we will wait 11 days in RP time (About an hour or so) for the Army to arrive at Munich.

9.2 For Naval Units, we will calculate how many nautical miles it will take to go from Point A the point B the navy is wishing to sail. We will take the slowest ship and see its MPH. So if a trip is 300Miles away from your desire, then a ship with 10 MPH will arrive to that location in 30 minutes

10. With regards to forts. There will be garrisons which can be called out should the fort be attacked

Capital Fort - 2 Irregulars
Lvl 1 Fort - 2 Irregulars
Lvl 1 Fort plus capital - 3 Irregulars
Level 2 Fort - 4 Irregulars (+1 if in Capital)

11. Attacking provinces with coasts will result in a -2 Roll modifier
Attacking provinces with rivers will result in -2 Roll modifier
Attacking Mountains And hills As of 7/13/2018 Will cause -3 Rolls


12. If the king wishes to lead their army, they will be able to. However, the king will be taking a massive risk in doing this for every battle will result in a 25% chance of death. There is a 25% of also being captured to be added if you lose. Having your king lead your mean in battle will result in a +1 Attack roll and a +.1 in Military tactics.

13. If you create more than 12 units per turn, you will incur 1 unrest per unit over created for one turn.

14. If you create more than 8 of an unit, the creation time will go up by 2 days, with an extra 2 days per 2 more units added.

Note:
*Engineers may be used to RP entrenching, building or destroying units. The more engineers an army has, the more efficient the actions will be.

*If you are moving an army that is enlisting soldiers- They will be counted in the speed an army has and if your army does suffer heavy losses, the being enlisted unit will also suffer causalties.
