HERO'S PARTY R is a TBS (turn-based strategy) game with a story that starts out quite simple and generic but is enriched by adding the personal stories of the characters that join the group, who have different backgrounds and goals.
The game has the peculiarity of being able to choose the side to which you want to join either the king being a hero or the demons and be a "villain", in both cases the goal will be to gather 30 allies to go to an ambush to end the enemy side, each side has its own races and classes so the units are different in strength, mobility as well as special skills.
The gameplay is typical in this genre, dividing the story into maps where you deploy your units to meet the objective to advance, this goal is usually to defeat the battalion leader in a certain number of turns.
