Graphic Designers - Digital Art

A graphic designer works with developing creative ideas and concepts through the use of type, space and image. Their designs are required for a huge variety of products and activities, such as websites, advertising, books, magazines, posters, computer games, product packaging, exhibitions and displays, corporate communications and corporate identity, i.e. giving organisations a visual 'brand'.

The idea behind this group is to gather graphic designers from around the steam community and together create a whole new community based on communication in relation to digital art and design.

* Showcase your artwork and share your ideas.
* Share your knowledge or ask for help and tips.
* Participate in competitions and have a chance of winning prices.
* Order artwork

The possibilities are endless.

In order to have the group running perfect, we need to set up some rules.

The following rules apply. Zero tolerance applies against breaking the rules. Exceptions can be made​​.

The administrator chooses an appropriate punishment.

The rules are as follows:

* Disparaging comments and posts is strictly prohibited.
* Religious / political posts or comments are prohibited.
* Irrelevant / demeaning comments or posts are prohibited.
* Harassment is strictly prohibited.
* Begging for free stuff is prohibited.
* Spam is prohibited.
* Advertising is prohibited. (with exceptions in cases certainkind)
* Stealing artwork or claiming that you own the rights of someone else's work is strictly prohibited.

There are no certain criteria that must be completed in order to join the group. However, posting a personal presentation in the group is much appreciated by the admins.

You do NOT have to be a 'professional graphic designer'. Designing stuff in photoshop for fun is enough to consider yourself a grahpic designer in this group. If your not some kind of artist, feel free to join anyway in case you want to order artwork or ask a question.
