I Duke Charles Lafayette de Valois-Orleans to press my rightful claim to the Duchy of Gascony with in the south lands, my wife hails from the family of House Mitarra and there claim hails to the time of an Independent duchy of Gascony between 864 A.D. to 1053 A.D. with this I press my claim to the Duchy and would ask the King to support my rightful inheritance as the previous Duke stepped down to face his own grievousness with god with no scion, heir thus the Ducal title stands empty and I believe that my claim is right and ask my brother the King to support this most righteous claim.

If my claim is recognized then a wonderful age of prosperity will begin as I will bring a new age of trade between the North and South and I ask my fellow Lords to support my claim to the Duchy. Thank you and may the Father watch over you all, may the lord bless us all.
