The economy works on a weekly basis.

Feudal lords will receive money on a weekly basis, counting 100 florins per county per week.
The current feudal tax to the king is 5% per week. So if you receive 600 gross tax every week, you pay 30 florins to the king/queen.

Every retinue past your first will cost 600 a week.
When you raise your levies it will cost you 300 and then 300 every following week.
To place a standing army, you need to pay 1200 for recruiting, training and equipment the first week. After the first week you will have a standing army which will cost you 1200 every week to maintain. If they have losses in battle it will cost 1500 that week to replenish. The bonuses of having a standing army is that they receive 3 EXP in Medieval 2 Total War and increase for every battle they win. A long term standing army can potentially become a terrifying fighting force.
Every duke starts with 1000 florins.
Every count starts with 500.
Every knight starts with 100.
Feasts cost 200 florins, tourney hosting costs 500 and participating costs 50 to pay for equipment.

Florins can be used ICly for projects such as castle building but please notify the admins to fix a price. Feel free to gamble in tournaments or spend your money how you wish. Remember that money isn't their simply for armies but it can be used to make interesting IC events with.

Brief Bio: Whilst not a towering figure, he is still quite tall for the period, standing at 6'0. His lower body would be toned, and somewhat muscular due to the need for strong legs carrying armor. His upper body is much more chiseled, as one would expect from a lancer. His hair is dark brown, short and thick. He has a small scar under his left eye from childbirth. His beard is short and scratchy. He is not a beauty, nor plain but more "somewhat attractive." His eyes are light brown, bordering hazel.

Location in the Kingdom of France: Honfleur, Normandy

Brief History: The Danjou family is not a small one, but they have not been favoured for high nobility in France, as their deeds as knights, whilst noble, were never great. Much of that changed with Pierre Danjou, a young man who first distinguished himself as an excellent jouster in a tourney at 20. His efforts on the battlefield and combat prowess had put him in high regard throughout north France. He was quickly awarded a barony by his former duke, than as his duke died with no inheritor, the Duchy of Normandy itself. However, such a fast rise has it's troubles. Danjou, whilst always at home on the battlefield, struggles with the politics and intrigue of high court. He always attempts to lead with chivalry, with the best of intentions, but sometimes this has dramatic consequences. However, his loyalty is untarnished and we would fight the armies of the damned if his king commanded it. He is noted for his disdain of Bretons.
