We do two of these each year, One during the summer and the other during winter

I am proud to announce that this year, GoDs Unite Christmas Giveaway is happening again this year!!

This site will help us to decide winners for each item that is won at the end of a giveaway.

The GoDs Unite Summer Giveaway 2019 has again been cancelled and for the reason you would think!


I was involved in a scam for a vast majority of my valuable tf2 items just today between a valve employee called bendotcom (Who should be very trustworthy for his role) and someone completely unknown to me at first who sounded very legit and asked for an elite grade weapon which I no longer wanted but then he asked me to add the valve employee so he could "verify my item" (a group chat between me, the other trader and the valve employee started at this point) and I went ahead with it and it doesn't stop there, I saw the trades (not from ben) just piling up with all my valuables (Something I worked hard on since I first opened my steam account and started playing tf2) and once he had all my items Ben said to me that there was an error "verifying" my items (I immediately started to panic) and I would need to buy $100 (£82) worth of steam credit from this random website, when I said I didn't have enough money, he said how about $50, I said i don't have that either, so then he asked for the username I logon to steam with and then my steam guard code (How he knew password I will never know), you may think I am stupid but I complied in the hopes I would get my stuff back. After that Ben told me check my emails as I allegedly had a code in it. (Only at this point I realised this was a scam) So I said no please just give me my items back, he started to get impatient. I then did a bit of investigating and found that the other trader had my items, I confronted him about this with a screenshot showing my evidence and he told me don't worry, I will sort this out myself. I then went counter-impatient and said "can you see the screenshot ok?" to which he said I'm giving you 3 minutes to comply with the "process". I sent the other trader a trade offer requesting for my items back.
(Ben and the other trader unfriended me at this point).
I don't want to witch hunt but the other trader I was talking about is actually called bedon6996 . When I was doing my investigation I found out that they were the same person as bedon is an anagram of bendo(tcom) and they shared a steam username at one point or another.


I have reported bendo to steam support for scamming, theft and fraud practices, I doubt they will do anything though considering he is a valve employee himself.
I have also changed the email I use with steam and my password


To be perfectly honest I don't really know, hopefully steam support will email me back telling me what action they will take against the scammers.


Depends when I get my items back.

Sorry if this announcement seems very short, But It comes with a heavy heart to announce that the GoDs Unite Summer Giveaway 2019 has been cancelled as the tf2 economy is really messed up at the minute, Unusuals are being sold at rock bottom prices and crates which are usually £0.03 are being sold for just over £2.00.

So instead of the giveaway, I suggest you hurry over to the steam community and go and buy yourself an unusual!
