I do check back from time to time. I'm tyring to get Steam BC2 users to SWAP names. If you come across anyone in GMD or outside, who wants to join and plays BC2, could you lead them here an post another BC2 Soldier Names thread. Would be much appreciated.

I've only managed to come across Prof, and he's a class player. Very helpful and very team oriented. It would be nice to see the same from some of you guys. My character name (Soldier name) is Khai-FX - feel free to add me because I do not have Steam. Which is the point of course for the thread/announcement - to direct Steam users and non-Steam users here so they may add one and other and play with each other in game.

If anybody needs help on Steam Overlay (over BC2) just give me a shout. I have to use Steam overlay due to the disappointing lack of an invite/message system. Makes the friends list irrelevant but that's just the way it goes.

See some of you on BC2 soon, and perhaps a few of you (aka Pitbull) on CnC4!

Indeed. Thanks for that Mark. I too have been there once before. Do take note some recommendations may come back false... for example if a gamr requires Vista and you have Windows 7, ignore it. It'll run it. If you have a 1GB 4870 it may come up with something totally different in the reading (as the ATI model number for the card) and it will fail. However if it recommends a 4870 your all safe. This applies to any other hardware that it may occur on. Most of the time though it'll tell you clearly.

To all Players of the new Battlefield Bad Company 2, If those of you have been asking if your current system can run BC2 or NOT. Check out this site www.canyourunit.com (Can You Run It). This site was introduce on a short TV program called "Click". Where it tells you for hardware(new 3.0 USB), software, cool sites, etc.

Can You Run It. What it does?
This site provides a One-Click solution that looks at your computer's hardware and system software to determine whether or not your current system can run a product. Each of your computer's components is evaluated to see how well it meets the minimum and recommended requirements for specific products. Recommendations are made on how to update or upgrade each component which does not meet the listed requirements. Sometimes, a simple, free software download is all that is needed. Sometimes you'll find that you need a different video card to fully experience what the game has to offer.

I'll also OC this Phenom II X4 955 BE 3.2Ghz to 3.8Ghz when BF3 and Crysis 2 comes out when I get dual DX11 5770's.

And yah I too will need go for an upgrade for more new games this yr, since even though I have the cash but I dont go all out but rather a budget CPU. Its not as cheap or worth here in Singapore as in most country for your money. Prices here are now ALL high be it hardware, groceries, eating out...everything has been increase over normal.

My first aim would be an upgrade from my dual core, a DX11 supported card and a 3D ready monitor..I dont want to be using my 32inch TV screen as a double for Console and PC..zZ

I totally agree with you. Even though my system is pretty kick ass, I'm unsure of how it'll run BF3. I never played BF2, only BFMC2 on Console. But I know how BF games are. I just hope I can play it. By then I imagine I'll need a DX11 card. This 1GB 4870 is serving me perfectly for now. Specially with this Phenom II X4 955BE.

@Khai - That is until Battlefield 3 and MoH launch, we'll be on BC2 for multi....and maybe sine single player for whatever new games to come.

Right ok... well as much as I'd like to believe you... looking at the list of upcoming games, theres not really much "special" is there. When everyone else is playing BC2 I'll garauntee you won't off and you'll end up getting it at one point because it'll be probably the ONLY decent multiplayer shooter until Q3 or some ♥♥♥♥...

@^0[GMD]Khai-FX - MoH seems like BC2 + MW2 mix of stuff..from the choppers, nightvisions, etc...Cant wait for that.

Well I love BC2 now... well I wouldn't go as far to say "I love you baby, I want to feel you hardcore through my WASD!" but more to say I enjoy the game and it's improved a hell of a lot. There has been about 3 Client updates on the beta. Though the beta is pretty much closed off now, so long as they fix the "LOW FPS" feel you get at medium/high frames then I can see myself boning that game hardcore. By which I mean, play Multiplayer. lol

GET IT, trust me. You will change your mind. It's shaping up to be a seriously good game.

C&C4 on the other hand is nothing special, I'm just getting that for the sake of the story and if the Multiplayer blows then... it blows.

People should consider reading announcements more often... I know it's only just been posted but tons, I'm literally talking either 100's or even 1000's of people have fooled for that scam already.

Don't fool for it. Remember to look at the bottom of the page, no large corporate company uses free hosting. Also, take note that no company gives things away for free UNLESS IT BENEFITS THEM. In which case there is no benefit, only a hack for your Steam Accuont.

You mean play certain games at a certain time? Like a schedule? That's a good idea. Some time can be reserved for certain games while other times for other games. We'll all have to agree on a certain BC2 time of course. So it's sort of "in the middle" and appropriate for us all. As in... best times for the mix of different countries without it being to idle for either of us.

Not long now til the Beta. What do you mean by evenings. Evenings for you would be the early hours of the morning for us. Which is ideal for now, since a lot of us are on then. That may change in the future though. I don't mind playing at any time for the moment.

I'll make an annoucement later for a vote on appropriate times, but thx for the idea. Much appreciated.
