Let's put the drama aside and keep this group the way it has been for years and not associate it with dubious people, on both sides. I got banned on both sides by idiot reasons by idiot mods, but the people who hang around in this group are great people and I ain't changing that. If I could rename the group I would.

From what I can remember this group was created for SteamGAF members, which was used daily as a chat pre-discord for several years. No admin or mod on GAF had issue with this at all, and even said it wasn't an official GAF group just something the SteamGAF community had created when asked about in 2014.

A few of us have still being using it to post reviews and curate.

Per the guidelines above, you can promote me, demote everyone else, and leave the group, and ownership will be transferred that way.

NeoGAF would like its official Steam Group back. Take your time and migrate your crew elsewhere, then pass it off. You're looking to change the name again anyway, no? There's no need for further drama.

That's not true. I was an admin of the group, and I was removed during the drama in 2017.

Oh and for the record EvilLore, back when I created the group I offered to give the Admin rights to GAF mods, even you, no one cared back then, doing this now for the obvious reasons is a bit silly.

EvilLore, steam groups can't be transferred. I already removed the Era references, not because of you but because of the ♥♥♥♥ show going on there atm. You'll have to settle with that. You can ban me again if you want, I lost access to the account anyway.

The problem with creating a new group is that the name "NeoGaf" is taken by this one, making doing so impossible without usage of an inaccurate name as Steam only allows the names of groups to be original.

This group should be given to someone else.

While I can appreciate your interest in distancing yourselves from NeoGAF, there is zero reason to be childish about it. Same problem I have with everybody who flamed out of the forum instead of peacefully leaving, it makes you look like a gigantic ♥♥♥♥. Give up the reins to someone who has interest in maintaining the group, Ja Rule outta the group and enjoy where you go moving forward. Win/Win for all involved, and you still get to keep a moral high ground.

Neogaf still exists and will continue to do so. If whoever has leadership would pass the reigns to a legit neogaf member instead of disbanding that'd be great.

I have a feeling that resetera weI'll have 20000 or more within a week based off how many people still need invites. That would be 10 percent of total users and a much higher of daily active uses from previous forum.
