Since it never had a formal announcement on this group, I would like to bring special attention to Xeno's Sprinter Trueno that was published back in April, in the case you haven't seen it already. Probably one of the most detailed and accurate representations of the car out there, and a wonderful tribute to Shadow.

In recent time I've been dabbling in some new techniques for making maps a bit easier for myself, while also making it possible for them to be more complex and realistic in a sense, having more natural curves and banking in the road.

Although, I can't guarantee much will be done since I'll be headed back to college in a couple weeks and who knows after that, but I'll see what I can do over time.

It's finally out, and ready to be driven on.

I know it's been a good minute since any progress updates on the map, or anything else.

12 hour shifts at my old job pretty much killed my motivation last summer, and then college came around.

However, I've made some pretty substantial progress on Misaka I'd like to share with you all.

A little more than a week ago, I filled in most of the grass around the road.

And just today I threw on some trees to see how it'd look for fun.

At this point, there's just a little work around the first corner that needs to be finished up, then it's all props. Skybox might be something I add in the future since I'm "relatively" new to mapping still.

I do also want to decrease the intensity of the tree shadows, looks a little too dark the way they are.

I'll continue to chip away at this and hopefully I'll have the main parts of the map ready, since most of the prop work should be easier on me.

Hey, just thought I'd give you guys a little update since it's been pretty quiet around here.

Still trying my best to work on Misaka the most I can without getting burned out.

Misaka Touge, a map originally created by Streamline. I was able to get permission to work on it, and this is what I've been able to do so far reworking it. My current goal for this map is just to finish it, but maybe later down the road, I'd consider seasonal variants. With a little bit of magic, I've even been able to get the surface pretty smooth for use with jeep-based vehicles.
