Video Games: What Are They and Where Do They Come From?

Perhaps you heard about the "video game" phenomenon on a local AM radio talk show report. Maybe you walked into your son's room and discovered him using his mouse and keyboard to control "Mario," a popular "video game" character. Or possibly you were driving along a highway and heard a very large eagle make a terrible noise and that noise sounded like the phrase "video game." Regardless, these "video game" things are here and getting more popular every day! This group is for anybody who would like to learn more about the "video game."

Hello, I am Rich "Lowtax" Kyanka and I just read an article about "Video Games" in last month's Newsweek Magazine. It was entitled "Video Games" and it briefly discussed the history of "Video Games." I learned many amazing things. For example, did you know "Video Games" didn't use to exist at one point in time? And then they did? There's a lot to learn about these things.

This is a very serious group and we will take things very seriously, particularly in regards to "Video Games," which is what this group is all about. We will learn, laugh, love, have fun, and maybe even discover a little something about ourselves. I wish you all luck in this exciting journey of digital wonders, and please do not be afraid to ask ANY question about the "Video Games"; there is no such thing as a dumb question here, folks!
