The Army and Navy of Carthage has a important role. They are not only to defend it's borders, but to expand as well. In wars the generals/admirals will be called to duty and must fight battles for the Carthaginian Empire.

The Military of Carthage, organized into the ranks listed below.

Suffet of Carthage
~ Supreme Commander of the Army.
● Elected by the People.
● Reports only to the People.

Sacred Band
~ Bodyguards, supreme elite force in the empire.
● Appointed by the Emperor, and/or Empress.
● Report directly to the Emperor, and/or Empress.

Commander of the Republican Forces
~ Supreme General of the Army.
● Appointed by the Emperor and/or Empress.
● Only one.
● Reports to the Emperor, and/or Empress.
● Needs to have a solid understanding of Land Based army tactics in Total War: Rome 2 and Rome Total War.

Botearch
~ Elite Military Commander.
● Appointed by Suffet and/or by the Commander of the Republican Forces
● Reports to the Suffet and the Commander of the Republican Forces
● Is able to fight battles against other nations.
● Should be good at Rome Total War, Total War: Rome 2

Navarch
~ Elite Naval Commander
● Appointed by the Suffet and/or the Commander of the Republican Forces.
● Reports to the Emperor, Empress, and/or High Navarch.
● Should be good at Empire Total WarTotal and/or War: Rome 2 Naval Battles.
