Sorry about the delay in announcing this; I nearly frog-ot.
Univbee of the SAGCCX megathread 'discovered' the prototype after "buying a large box of NES cartriges from eBay": http://i.imgur.com/62sbO.jpg
You can watch the game being played...: http://youtu.be/tcSf2eyXCn4
...Or, you can play it yourself! Don't expect anybody to phone you with hints though: http://puu.sh/a79kK/e767bb288a.nes
And finally, once you've seen all of the above, check out this final surprise: http://i.imgur.com/8BSQJ.png

I'm calling it a 'bonus' since this wasn't translated by the SAGCCX team; a fan with a native understanding of Japanese (but not English) had a go instead.

Translation and subbing for this episode was done by the same person responsible for the Excitebike 3D episode a couple of weeks ago.
Fire Emblem: Monshō no Nazo (aka. "Mystery of the Emblem") is a SNES remake of the original NES Fire Emblem game. Neither of these games ever got released outside of Japan.

For those of you who know nothing of Arino's language mastery, here's a quick example: When an English-speaking fan said "You rock, dude!" to him over Twitter, Arino responded with "Yes! I am!"

Going way, way back to when the show had [CX] in brackets, this final, special episode of the original series is a mix of several things (in relative order of screentime): An interview with the granddaddy of Pokémon (Satoshi Tajiri), the Hot Springs Travelogue, Arino's assisted revenge attempt against the direct Disk System sequel to the original Super Mario Bros., and the most VHS-sized box of seaweed you'll ever see.

Do you dare to face the might of Lu-Bu? Arino visits the Koei offices to quiz them on how beat-'em-up games are made, and finds time on the side to discover face-washing 'advice' in a dating sim.

As the Sketched comic pages Turn(er), Arino is thrust into the most 90's side-scrolling brawler ever. Will he escape the panel boundries, or will we just get to watch the amazing Game Over sequence a bunch of times?
With RGM now officially released on DVD, our man Ray sets the record straight. Essential reading for all fans.

If you've read the article from the previous announcement, you'll be aware that the Retro Game Master DVDs don't come with any non-challenge segments (due to licensing issues that affect the Japanese DVD sets too). That means a whole bunch of footage can't be on the DVD, and the SAGCCX team refuses to sub the licensed challenges out of respect.
What's a community to do?

Just take the broadcast versions of each episode, cut out the challenges and translate what's left, of course!

One final surprise release from Clover! This group of fansubbing goons has collaborated with SAGCCX on previous translations, but they're hanging up their green uniforms for good and focusing on other shows from now on. Details are on the torrent description page.
Finally, the legendary rivalry between Arino and Firebrand (aka. "Red Areemer") gets its origin story!

To pad out the description a little bit, here's some comparison shots zari-gani made between the three different translation teams that worked on certain episodes:

One more note: Ninja Gaiden on the RGM DVD is a 'director's cut' version, restoring important footage to make the challenge segment an hour long on its own. The amount of time spent on the side-segments in the broadcast version is equal to the time added to the DC version, so if you combine the two, you'll get an extra-length episode.
Sources are confirming that some other episodes on the DVD, like S.O.S., are 'director's cuts' that have more footage than the original fansub releases. Example: http://i.imgur.com/qASSj.jpg
