App Failing to Launch
This is my first app so I might have missed something basic.

I got my build and depot stuff all arranged. When I finally go to launch my App it gives me an (invalid app config) error.

If I navigate directly to the steam folder I can launch it there.

I already deleted my appcache folder.

Can't seem to find much help with google since the error occurs for a lot of other games. Any tip in the right direction would be appreciated, thanks!

This should be labeled EXACTLY like it is in folder right?

So I have it set to install to a folder called "GameName"

inside that folder is where I find everything including "GameName.exe"

In the launch Options I have "GameName.exe" defined as the executable to launch.

I'm only trying to get the Windows version up right now and I also have the Operating system set to windows.

Thanks for the response but I don't think that's it. I'll keep looking myself and report back if/when I'm successful.

Ok to almost immediatly correct myself.

Thanks for making me look at that page again 2dengine. I missed the red bar at the top.

To anyone who ever finds themselves in this spot. You need to publish the changes for them to work...

well thanks for indulging my noob mistake! It launches now!

I had the same thing with my first Steam program. It just went live, but so much has happened in the past month that I can't even remember what I did to fix this problem. It wasn't the same as your publishing issue, but I don't remember what it was....
