The thing I hate is DLC, why did you choose to release offline/online as DLC?
But maybe you guys could involve some YouTubers in the game (doing tournaments with their own pool table etc.). Try to get the community to play together with friends.

MAYBE an idea to give a Team Fortress 2 look and give a shoutout to Steam. Maybe they show your game on the front page of the Steam store.
