Report a translation problem
I originally used professional translation services such as Gengo. However I quickly discovered from players that most of their translations just came from google translate, even when you add all the 'special packages and checks' to ensure a high quality translation.
So now if I need a translation I'll just use chatGPT to get base translations, and then community volunteers will make corrections to it until it's right. Honestly, most corrections are tiny, chatGPT is really good at translation.
I don't think I'd pay for translation in the future, except in special circumstances, as there isn't really any way for me to verify that they didn't just use the free translation services themselves (until it's too late).
Thank you for your offer to help though! I have a fairly large project coming up that will come built in with the ability for the community to create their own translations without my intervention. If you'd be interested in translating it to Polish, that would be really helpful
With the project you mentioned, would I just have to wait till it's released to general public, or would it be possible to work on it before release?
For my future project, it's not certain what words will need to be translated yet so I'm not able to send it through yet. But if you follow the developer hub, hopefully steam will notify when it's closer to release!
WIll do that! Do you want me to give you some contact information, just in case?
