maps on it are ♥♥♥♥ now...
/ :P
I want Valve to change the CSS gameplay to make it something new and not a carbon copy of CS 1.6
TF2 isn't TFC -- why cause Robin Walker and John Cook took 8 years to make something different
I also think Valve are expanding the numbers of CSS using bots
15,990 60,041 Counter-Strike: Source
15,789 62,973 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 - Multiplayer
26/07/2010 <-Taken on this date.
This was taken today. Why is CSS on top shouldn't it be under MW2. I smell ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
This group is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid.
I play TF2, and CSS. I like them both.

My point is that the "Night Vision Goggle gameplay mechanic" is NOT USED AT ALL therefore the gameplay feature is REDUNDANT. I have not seen any maps that are 'dark enough' or have serious lighting where a gameplay feature like "Nightvision goggles" would be required.
In short making the old valid gameplay nameable features:
- Recoil, Bullet pattern
- Flashbangs
- Handgrenades
Only level features:
- Bomb plant
- Hostage Rescue
(VIP gameplay removed)
as valid gameplay features
Considering
- Walling / Shooting through walls is not a gameplay feature
- Bunny hopping IS NOT a gameplay feature in a game where the mechanic is team based and everyone runs at a certain speed (Conditions: Knife in or out)
Gameplay isn't very depthful in CS. Seriously?
Cheating
Counter Strike has been a prime target for exploitation by cheaters since its release. In-game, cheating is often referred to as "hacking" in reference to programs or "hacks" executed by the user.
Typical cheats are:
Wallhacks, which allow the player to see through walls. These work by displaying objects that are normally obscured or replacing opaque game textures with semitransparent ones, allowing the hacker to see enemies before they would normally be in view. As the engine only renders the immediate area around the player, this does not allow a player to see the entire map at once.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Counter_Strike#Cheating
If people read this on Wikipedia the assumption then gets carried on to the new product.
At least Robin Walker doesn't walk out on a project unlike Minh Le. If Minh Le would of realised anything, it is that SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT is (in the terms of gaming) a forever ongoing project. You have to keep your players interested or your player base just gets stale.
TF2 - ongoing project updates 2008 2009 and now 2010
Crapper Strike Source Updated: 12 Dec 2006
Counter-Strike: Source Update Released
Product Update - Jason Ruymen
Updates to Counter-Strike: Source have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The specific changes include:
Counter-Strike: Source
Increased ES57, Compact 228 and Dual Elites damage by 25%
Lowered allowed number of dropped weapons in a level to prevent gun spamming
Updated foliage quality in cs_militia
2006?! Dude WTF... and all they did was change damage blargh
Saying this is like saying "Oh wow I took a crap in the toilet and this brown lump of stuff looks like diamond.
You are still playing the stale same old dump that was produced 8 years ago.
It is also like moving to a foreign country not saying you speak the local language, but know nothing about the culture or history.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Counter_Strike_Source#Modifications
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Counter_Strike#Mods_and_scripts
"Though Counter-Strike is itself a mod, it has developed its own community of script writers and mod creators. Some mods add bots, while others remove features of the game, and others create different modes of play. Some of the mods give server administrators more flexible and efficient control over his or her server. "Admin plugins", as they are mostly referred as, have become very popular (see Metamod, AMX Mod and AMX Mod X).
Which logically makes TF2 more superior in variety to CS
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Team_Fortress_Classic#Gameplay
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Team_Fortress_2#Game_modes
August 13, 2009, Valve included a fourth control point variation: King of the Hill
The payload mode was introduced in April 2008 with the map "Gold Rush"
ayload race, a game mode where both teams control a cart, was released in May 2009 with the map “Pipeline”.
Variety is the spice of life
versus
"Same ♥♥♥♥ differrent day from 8 years ago" - UGH NASTY HORRID.

Kthx leaving grp now.
1. CSS could never be made into TF2, because the TF style is CLASS BASED. Medic, Heavy, Spy, etc.
2. Yeah CSS isn't normal, and thats good. It has variety to it, and thats what gives it a sparkling gem.
3. Updates doesn't mean the game is better, Sloth. TF2 also wasn't a finished game, thats why there was so many updates.
4. There are hackers for TF2 just as there are CSS, and VAC is designed to stop that kind of stuff.
5. That's all you got? How does a simple Night Vision Goggle problem make a game not good? And there are maps that do have the use of Night Vision Goggles in store.
Overall Sloth, I'd say your facts aren't facts at all, due to no evidence to back it up, and also your biased opinion.
