The story is set only a three years after the 7 hour war and around five years before the main storyline. Don't expect anything big, it will be short, more of an test if all the things will work properly and how I want it to work.

City 17, sector 4, after the big incident, multiple ways into the canals has been opened, as some choices for the local citizens. Atmosphere, passive roleplay, event development. That's what is it about.

The long preparation and meticulous planning is over. This is the day of action. The Red Letter day. A day that will unite all of humanity, or whatever's left of it. This is the Second Uprising. The Combine have less control, and the Resistance has some aces up their sleeves.The revolution starts in City 17, City 8 and City 27, with the hope that other Cities around the world will spark the flames of their own rebellion. The objective is simple. To finish what Gordon couldn't.

After only a few hours of fighting in City 17, an order of the highest command is given to the Combine Overwatch and Synthetic forces. All MPF Command units are evactuated to the Citadel, and the rest are to be purged along with the rest of the City's populace.

The Lambda

The Resistance. A proffesional group of insurgents, trained soldiers and patriots ready to sacrifice themself to free humanity from slavery. Unlike most of the amateurs, they have tactics, leaders and order. Their equipment is the best, as far as human technology can go. Cars, helicopters, weaponry. Many of them used to live in outlands, but they've coordinated and arrived en masse for the revolution.


Metro Police Force

The Metropolice Force used to be a Combine group. Not anymore. After realizing they were to be purged, the MPF forces (ranks 05-01) banded together with the simple objective of survival. They have weapons of moderate quality, and acess to some Combine technology. They have impressive tactics, coordination, and communication amongst themselves. They operate on their own volition.


The Vortex

Citizen-made group founded by Dr. Alexander Hofferson, Kelly Price and an unnamed man going with the nickname of "Crow". The Vortex was heavily concentrated in the under-UU economy, black market, drugs and other related fields. Their group was an assortment of thugs, black market dealers and mentally deviant individuals (All kinds of sociopaths and psychopaths.) Due to this the group made alot of enemies. Lambda was probably the biggest one, and the war between them set leaders against one another and nearly led to the group's complete downfall. At the end, Doctor Hofferson was killed, and some other members loyal to him. Kelly Price took over the organization, meanwhile "Crow" left and never was seen again. Vortex changed quite a bit. They became more ruthless, greedy and their methods incomprehensible. Although they remained alive and thriving. A few days before the uprising, Kelly Price made pact with the Lambda, and all the issues and differences between them has been forgotten... for now. No one really knows what their real intentions are - but they are malicious for sure.

The Combine

The collective force of Transhuman soldiers, Synths, and other abominations under UU control. Every available Combine asset has been called into the streets of City 17. Some are tasked with guarding key positions, but most of the force is dedicated to the genocide of humankind.

Our group has been throught alot, just as our characters. It was fun, great experience and it's lovely story to tell but-- our server is still a game, and you play games to win them don't you? In roleplay, winning is redeeming your character, some kind of physical confrontation or some emotional moment, and that is exactly what I wish to do. I want to give us all an ending that we will remember for a long time, story that will finally end the line and give us new chances, new stories and new roleplay. I will split the server into few chapters, probably three of them, all of them will have it's own scenario, choices and different endings - It will be up to you to choose which way you'll go. Our server has worked simply by our improvisation and thinking in a run, it was quite chaotic but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fun, I hope that this change will make it only better. At the moment, I have too much stuff to do and just a little of time so don't get too hyped. I'll try to think of the first chapter and try to find some free time when we can dew it.
