FAN is one of the best servers ever created. And recently, a lot of common players have left to attempt to start their own group. FAN is slowly leaving us. Help us advertise the server, and help us breathe life back into FAN!

New Server!

There are now two FAN servers, one of which is owned by Xenon and BOOM, and the other is still owned by Hobson. It's the same old server but with a few new things such as SCars. We also have a new tooltrust system, so tools like dynamite, turrets, and adv. dupe are banned from normal players. So don't go joining the old FAN thinking it's the same server. That one is going to be a bit more serious.

Here is the new IP: 173.236.113.6:27015

How to PROPERLY report Player/Admin Abuse (Updated as of August 12th, 2010)

Being as this is a topic that is discussed widely on all RP servers, and being as i've been back for one day and i've literally had 3 people message me about some form of abuse, allow me say how to properly do this. No offense, but it does get a tad annoying getting messages along the lines of "OMFG!!!1 -insert name here- iss abusingf!"

1. ALL REPORTS should go to FAN's Official Forum. Messaging Admins and other members of the FAN "Staff" will probably not work and make some angry, so it's best to avoid it, and just post on the forums under the correct section.

2. Please do NOT tell an Admin they are abusing. Although it does happen on occasion, it will really make that Admin angry, and most of the people that hear it, as well.

3. The ONLY time that an Admin should be contacted regarding abuse is when no Admin is on the server, and serious player abuse is taking place, (ex. Boxed you in the spawn, crazy rdm, etc)

Thank you for your time, this is intended to reduce stress among all of FAN's fans, wether they a Player or Admin.

WOW fan is still up?? gezus! ive played on this server a few times over the past 3 or 4 years. I remember actually enjoying RP when there was no major tool abuse and not everyone was constantly trying to steal your stuff and it was a community based game... all those memories are from FAN ovis city. good times!

The Report Abusive admins is a bit redundant cause most of the time, the people that say "Admeen Abooz" are total ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ morons that do stuff that isnt allowed by the server rules. Just saying.

Hey, how about you use FANR to actually...HELP FAN, post updates, schedule events, and make game nights and such, we have people in the group but none of them join the server! and if you want to orchestrate a game night, do it on the forums then post it here! Forums: www.fan-rp.com
