i need the groups thoughts on something
so i came across this guy in is amazing odst uniform

seeing it it gave me an idea. we could find some of these guys that have these unique odst paint jobs and base our campaign characters off of them. basically putting them in game as our lead characters. with that we could have these guys take photographs of themselfs in armor and send them to us so we can use them as live action advertising, similar to what bungie did. maybe we can get them to go a step further and have them make really short live action videos for us too? just athough.

on a sidenote to this, a dj in atlanta is trying to record the helljumper cadence for us, so it would be great to go along with a litte live action short, no?

what do you guys think? worth a shot?

I love the idea of custom colors, it adds the relation with the armor instead of another "Standard GI odst". I also like the idea of using them as live action, i just don't know how much effort that would entail, basically making a short movie.

well i know those guys love taking pics and making videos, we could simply write a short story and pass it to them and ask them to play it out. really really short stuff i.e. odst trooper walking down a hall way, towards a door that reads "drop room". as he gets closer the camera takes a few shots of his armor, really quick flashes, and then he enters the room dissappearing into darkness inside... then you see written "prepare to drop" > the eridanus inssurrection > our log + coming soon. then use that on youtube for facebook etc. simple stuff
