Many of the Victorian groups are also doing this time period, and I am sure many of you recall how this very group did Victorian RP during my reign as Emperor and still made it work, so I belive that in order to promote some interesting creativity and also to maintain stasis with our brethren in the other groups, we should use this date.

Also positions will be needed to fill things out. To get started here, just dm me the post in which you wish to desire and you will be promoted to moderator! We'll start out simple, as it is know this group has not seen activity in almosy two to three years.

Positions are roughly based off the ones I myself made back in 2013, with the addition of the First minster post. This is basicly the prime minister of the group, or the head of state. Byzantium will run under a semi-constitutional monarchy system as it has been runned in the past. i will be Emperor, but a prime minister will be appointed by me to form a government.

Yes, this is the same Sigismund who was Emperor of Byzantium around 2013, who did the occasional war against Idi's Ethiopian group and the infamous "Caliphate Wars" around the end of 2013. This group was active for such a time before the dangerous RMD attacks of 2014 stalled progress on this group.

Today is a good day, because today I have been given the chance to once more bring this group back to the fold of RP. As many of you I am sure have noticed, the groups of old are slowly returning to activity, thanks, to the efforts of the Assembly of Nations under the founders, including Jakeman, Celticus, Wilhelm, and yours truly.

Today, I wish to call on those who remember the good old times we had with this group, but I also want to call on those who want to have a new start in a group that does not share some of the bias and internalized thinking that other groups may appear to exhibit. I know how it feels like, perhaps being put off to the site not because of my ability, but because some people know the right insider to get in. I will make sure this does not happen in this group.

So I wish to get those who are interested and help jump start this revival that may finally bring an end to the long and dull "stagnant period" that we are finally coming out it.
