Transcendance Server

For anyone who still occasionally has clicked on this group and wondered if a post was ever going to happen, here it is. :-)

Transcendance Server (formerly Oblivion) has been up for some time now as a casual PVE server. Alpha 8 is coming and Im still implementing planets evolved all the way back from Destiny in Alpha 3/4/&5.

We are open to the public 24/7 and have nerfed the alien turrets on planetary POI's as we are wiping the server for 8 and would like to see as much destruction as possible.

Starter Planets are no longer being wiped, but we have a 30% mining rule, all that good info is on a big lcd screen when you come onto the server for the first time in a space station.

Thanks for staying in the group for this long, the facebook page is still up as well, I do look at it about once or twice a month.

Group Page Will Now Be Used For Akira Server!

*Akira Server Closed & Was Merged Into Oblivion For Alpha 7.0 Sept 2017.

I've opened up Akira to the public. Just browse for Akira and you'll find it. At the moment the server has 74 playfeilds, many of which are custom imported to 6.0 from Destiny. The server is about 40% constructed to the point of which Destiny was. Feel free to give Akira a try, Over the next month the server will be having a lot of work done so at the moment this is a trial run. The more people and the more ideas, comments, etc.. the better.

Hey Tim,
Still remember the server, been waiting for the devs to add walking on ships or NPC Companions. Might get on when I get back from Kuwait in May. The internet at Camp Buehring is trash.

To my surprise there are still 65 members in this group!
I'm not sure if you forgot to leave or were loyal enough to stick around :-)

None the less, small announcement:

Transcendence is still around and now on the Empyrion workshop as a single/multiplayer scenario. Server is still online as well, "Transcendence 2" hosted in Michigan on physical hardware.

If you remember Destiny server, you'll still see things in Transcendence from that era. Somehow after all these years there tends to be a bit of a following that keeps this alive.

Transcendance (yr 2018) 40 slots

64gb of DDR4 ram
2x500gb SSD's
Windows Server 2012
Hosted from a Data Center (not a game hoster)
