A fairly new gaming cafe has opened up on University of Washington's "The Ave"! It's called Generation Gaming Cafe and houses thirty computers! A little bit of warning though: there is a price to use their computers of course. For more information, feel free to check their Facebook page!

At the moment, the cafe is heavily revolved around League of Legends: they run tourneys, invite people to watch games at the cafe, and just have a lot of League players that play. After talking with the owners, however, it seems that they are also interested in having Dota 2 become a larger presence within the cafe! An event of some sorts is in the works, but we need to find out how many people are interested and would actually attend.

But for now, this is just a heads up for Dota 2 players around the UW area that there is a local place to meet up and just game! If we work out an event, be sure to check the Defense of the NW Facebook Group page for an announcement!
