I propose that an institution for the education of young men aspiring to be officers, be established in the city of Stettin. Unlike the Königliche Marineakademie (Royal Navy Academy) at Kiel, the Königliche Friedrich Krieg Hochschule's (Royal Frederick War College) purpose is to turn young men into capable officers and train them for careers within either the Army or the Navy. The curriculum will consist of military subjects such as military history and general education courses. In addition, cadets will learn two modern foreign languages. Training will last for a period of four years. Tuition will be provided by the state and in exchange, cadets are obligated to serve in the military for twelve years and a subsequent six years in the Landwehr.

The Return of Prinz Rudolf

Today, my beloved Uncle the King has given permission for the Siamese branch of the Hohenzollerns to return to its native Prussia.

Therefore I am very pleased to come back after so many years and when I am in Prussia, I shall reside in the Burg Hohenzollern.
