I'm sure whenever I get an interest on doing that again, I'll let you know. I host the server on my own, and I gotta deal with whatever service Spectrum provides me. So it may be laggy, but I'll be sure to let you know if the server props up again!

I'm more into watching bot behavior in GTA games, or more of Rockstar's games. Also enjoy playing and trying to behave as a bot at times.
This server is what got me into TF2 bots. I've been slowly learning how they function, either with the nav_meshes or their actual coding. I've learned so much since then, and it's expanded to L4D2 and CS:GO's bot systems as well.
Just wanted to stop by and thank you for all of the good times I had. Granted, even if a lot of it was spent spectating these mindless creatures, I enjoyed every moment I had. <3

It also seems like some more people are interested! Believe me, I'll try my hardest to bring lots of people to this server! ^^
Oh, it looks like I have an older verion of botnames.txt file on my server. Woops.
Also, you probably are the only one interested in the server. I don't have a whole lot of interest in TF2 as of late, but I do try to keep up with it to keep the server going. As of late, I've been tired from work and not really wanting to much.
But since there is someone who wants to play on it, that does encourage me to keep the server up to date so it can be playable.
Noticed there was a TF2 update a few days ago, so the server is probably out dated. I will go through and update the server and files tomorrow after work.
Also, I feel like I'm the only one actively interested in this server ;W;

Doubtful, the plugin I'm using is a couple years old and it's outdated. The author no longer wants to work on his things, so the plugin does not obtain item data properly anymore. It's using an old method that the game no longer uses... well it still uses it, just slighty different from what the plugin is expecting. I'm not a coding savant so I can't go in there and fix it up my self, so I've been doing my best dealing with it and riding the plugin as long as I can.
Yeah I know, sorry about that. My host has been slow as of late at creating update packages for my server. They seem to finally get it updated just a few days before TF2 gets a new update.
At the moment, not much I can do. But I have been trying to see why it has been taking longer and longer to get it updated.

I supose they could, if I went through the effort to see if they understood the game mode. But I enjoy them playing the base game (koth, pl, ctf, ect.).

I don't understand, I don't run an MvM server.
TF2 updated, and Metamod:Source was outdated.
I wanted to ask, what Plugin did you use to give the bots names, hats, weapons and such? I'd love to use it!
You really can't take control of the bots, you can only respawn in their place as the class they were playing as and with the health they had.
If your medic key is still bound to E, it would be that key to respawn in their place. Do make sure you're spectating a bot on your team, and make sure it is a bot. You cannot spawn in place of players.
To make sure they're bots, check the scoreboard(TAB) and look at the ping. If it says BOT, then they're a bot. Any number means that they are players.
Where on the map?
It's with the map. I do notice the same problem on some other maps as well. If the cart is stopped either before or at the cap, bots may just idle in spawn. This seems to be a problem in maps that have changing spawn locations (doesn't apply if the round ends to change spawn room). I don't really know of a fix, other than Valve fixing up their bots to not bug out in those scenarios. I have reported it to them, but I doubt they care about tf_bot anymore.
Nothing I can do about that, something with the map its self. If you stop the cart after the second point is capped, the bots will not leave the second spawn room. If you let them push it to at least the third point (without capping it), they won't bug out.
Also, each time TF2 updates, it ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up the mapcycle file so sometimes after an update the server will go to maps that don't work with bots.
