Multiplayer games
In a multiplayer game, you play with or against human players connected across a network, the internet, a modem, or a serial connection . Up to eight players can connect to a game across a network or the internet. Two players can connect to a game across a modem or serial connection.

Creating or joining a multiplayer game
You can create a game that other players can join . The player with the fastest computer should create the game.

Multiplayer game speed
Multiplayer game run only as fast as the slowest computer in the game. If the game seems jerky or responds slowly while you are playing, one or more players may have a latency or frame rate problems.

A yellow or red dot appears beside the name of the player with a slow internet connection. A yellow dot indicates latency of 300 milliseconds to 1 second. A red dot indicates latency of greater than 1 second.

Between Revora and GameRanger Online

Revora is Full of pros if you are new I highly reccommand you stick to Gameranger.
Revora is a Great server for Pros and Experts alike. If you are new or a casual player you will get crushed and demoralized that it will make you give up playing cnc3 alltogether. This server is only for pros and experts. You will not come across any noobs there or mid players unless is password protected.





Revora - C&C:Online is a community-made- and managed online server for Generals, Zero Hour, C&C 3, Kane's Wrath, and Red Alert 3, allowing you to log in and CONTINUE playing online just like you could when GameSpy's servers were still online.

To start an online multiplayer you need to register at http://forums.revora.net/index.php?app=core&module=global&section=register

Note: C&C:Online and T3A:Online Password will be your game login to the server in order to play online.

To get online click the patch launcher C&C 3 online, Game will launch then
click online multiplayer-Online and input on the Login the C&C:Online and T3A:Online Password in which you registered. The first bar EA Account Name will be the C&C: online you created
The secound bar PASSWORD will be T3A: Online password you created
The 3th bar can be any name ID you wish.

HOW TO LAUNCH C&C3/KANES ON GAMERANGER

1. Click Host and select the desire game
   
2. Click Start on GameRanger to launch game
   
3. C&Conline launcher will pop up on windows
   
4. Click on the appropriate C&C version
   
5. Click on multiplayer then network

In the In-game lobby you will have to wait 1 minute or lest for the players arrival.
It is best advised to wait for them before creating a game map.

Note: Sometimes GameRanger will automatically launch itself after clicking start to network to in-game without the need of manually clicking on C&Conline Launcher.

To rehost again on Gameranger you will need to deactive the C&Conline Launcher by clicking X on it or otherwise you will have problems launching the game. Wait until your steam turns blue to Rehost again before clicking Start on Gameranger.
