Mouse Acceleration. What is it?
What exactly is mouse acceleration?

It is exactly what it sounds like, acceleration of the mouse. Current OS (Operating Systems: XP,Windows7/8) have a built in mouse acceleration. Which basically mirriors the speed of your mouse behavior: as in if you move your mouse from point A to point B, your POINTER would either go FARTHER if you move your mouse FAST, or a SHORT distance if you move your mouse SLOW. The idea of mouse acceleration creates inconsistant mouse behavior, and mostly a lot of miss grenade throws, headshots, sprays, ect ect.

I've compiled some information to help you disable Mouse Acceleration:

Windows 7: Start > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Mice (Its in the Device and Printer catagory) > Pointer Options TAB > Motion Box: UNCHECK: Enhance pointer precision

It should look like this: http://cyborggaming.com/blog/image.axd?picture=2010%2f5%2fmousecpl.jpg

I've also disabled the mouse acceleration on my Razer Naga, as well, since some mice come with a built in mouse accelrator. Luckily Razer has a programmable-all-in-one place, where I can disable the mouse accelerator.

I hope this helps, if you guys have any questions, let me know! Leave a message here if you guys see a change in your shooting. :)

Happy hunting, and Happy Holidays 8)

>>>>>>ATTENTION CS:GO PLAYERS<<<<<<
Here is a great source for some in-game console commands that help with mouse acceleration as well!

I highly recommend looking around at the information, in those die hard last second situations, it really does come down to the little things, plus it doesnt hurt to look at things that help you improve. 8)

m_forward 1
m_mousespeed 1
m_mouseaccel2 0
m_mouseaccel1 0
m_customaccel 0
m_customaccel_max 0
m_customaccel_exponent 0
m_customaccel_scale 0

Please, read the thread before you alter your console. I hope this helps, thank you 8)
