I've been playing since I was very young, 8 or so, years old I started with C&C 1 and then played Red Alert 1 for the longest time on PlayStation 1 (PSX). In 2004 I finally got Red Alert 2 as my parents got a laptop, first I played skirmish and made some nooby maps.

When I discovered competitive multiplayer on XWIS however, that's when I truly got motivated to play, it was really fast and fun, with high tensions between players, constant flame wars and joking around, it was an exciting environment.

Now with CNCNet being the most accessible and active multiplayer network, I mainly play Yuri's Revenge there. The community is lively and there are quite a few old players or mod makers helping to improve the network which is the best part. I hope many more can have as much fun on my favourite game series as I did.
