I usually raffle stuff, then sell the skins came from the entries on market or csgolounge then combine them to get a nice item to raffle, I don't buy items only to raffle, personally I buy what I like, what I see as cool so I use them a bit before I raffle. I get really really rare specicial or expensive stuff to raffle becuase the demand is not much so the raffle takes too long time, I believe raffles should not be extend more then 2 days, most of my raffles finish in an hour or two.

I don't trade with scammers, I check people's id by using steamrep before trading so all of the stuff I raffle is coming from a clean source, I also double check the items exterior since some people put for example FN ones but keep lower conditions in their inventory and try to scam by putting the for example FT one on trade.

But if you are asking about entry fee's, same steamrep thing applies, then I check the items value to make sure they have send the right amount of entry fee and if the amount they send is in the middle like if the entry fee is $0.20 and they send $0.30 I add them to ask if they want me to accept the entry or would they like to throw 10 more cent to get 1 more slot. About safety, in case of any problem for example people sometimes say they have sent items but they can't see their name. That's because I have not accepted the trade offer yet, I prove it by taking screenshot of my trade history and offer's page. They can prove it with the same way I do if a problem occurs on their side.

Started the group at 6th of October 2014, after creating the guides about how to enter the raffle and finding the right and them most fair cs:go raffle system(some of the groups were using different systems like 1 mil spec gun =1 slot etc) ,you can say the best fit, launched the group at 10.10.2014

-How often do you get rare/expensive items in CS:GO.
Could not understand what did you tried to ask, feel free to explain a bit more so I can answer that.

-How often is there a extremely rare item like a Karambit, or a certain skin for raffle.
We don't like raffling big skins, since people in our group prefer to enter to the small ones, so not very often unless there is demand from various members.

-What are the chances of winning a raffle?
That depends on how many slots there are in the raffle and how many slots you are buying but I can give an example here. Let's say that there is a raffle with 8 slots and you get 2 of them. Per slot you will have %12.5 change to win the raffle since there are 8 slots, so if you buy 2 slots you will have %25 chance to win. We put a maximum slot limit so you can limited number of slots to make it a bit more fair for all entrants, you would not want to be in a situation where someone gets 7/8 of the slots and you get 1, obviously not very fair. Also sometimes we do raffles with various winners, like 1st winner gets item 1 and second get's item 2 so you can have more chance to win something. To summarize all of these we can say that the cahce you get depends on the raffle.

-How do you combat scams?

Not sure what you are asking here.If you are talking about people trying to impersonate winners or sending offers wrongly on intention to trick us, we are part of Raffle Group Reports so we make sure that the scammers action appear on the database there so all of the groups can take action back and we ban the member from our community so we take these seriously.

-How do you know if a raffle is not fixed?
Now correct me if I am wrong, you are trying to ask how do you know if a raffle is real or fake right? Well at first check the group and take a look around. See how everythink is in order here and how systematic we are even with 5.5 members. People are smart enough, they would not join here if there was any fixed situation. We choose our moderators after a long application process and I personally check every raffle and the winners myself to make sure the winners are chosen randomly by using random number generator. We holded over 100 raffles since we started and about 15 giveaways totally given items valued over 10 keys feel free to inspect every one of them you will see we are all clean.We created this group because we saw that the other cs:go groups are not very trustable and catched their flaws, we wanted to create the utopic cs:go raffle community.

I am working on system, and the cases are not accepted if the raffler do not want them. It writes in the raffle that we hold our right to reject or accept the items we want.

We use SCM to sell back skins so having a decent inventory value shows that you can hold raffles actively because when you buy stuff from SCM there is 1 week cooldown to trade them.
