I'm no pro trader, but I'd just like to say that making profit with 6 keys is incredibly difficult

its a low tier knife and its realy unwanted, no one will pay the full price (24), max u can get is 20 if u are lucky. ( or someone that made the same mistake ), i recommend you to try to trade it 1:1 for a more populair knife with the same value.

Hi, so I bought a Flip UV battle scarred for 21 keys the other day hoping to sell it for 90% MP. It's been a day now and no one has offered 22 keys. I also noticed that nobody seems to be selling it on csgolounge, so it's clearly not a very popular knife. Should I downgrade? If so how would I go about doing this, what items should I be looking for in particular to trade down to?

People on here seem to say that 20 keys is no longer a good place to start at, but I did start at 20 keys and earned 5 keys in a month. I know this is pretty shocking, but will buying 10 keys more really be beneficial? I mean I'd surely still come across the same people not willing to accept my lowball offer just like it is at the moment.

I would personally stick with steamanalyst mainly because most of the community use it.

How much do you normally buy them for yourself?

Not to answer for him, but Nux would buy them so he can sell them for more. Unless you want to quicksell the knife, then I wouldn't sell at that price.

Hello this is an issue I've been struggling with from the start of trading. It is about the price of a key when using the calculator to work out 85% market price or whatever. For my situation I am from Britain so use GBP and I am told many times that £1.65 is the value to use, however the market price of a key is £1.90 and this doesn't make much sense to me baring in mind we use the market price on knives. So we buy at 85% market price so the idea is if we have trouble selling a knife for keys we can sell on the market and buy the keys on there, but with the £1.90 price you'll obviously get a lot less keys for your knife. I just really need some clearing up about this, as I am sure the concept is very simple but I have greatly blown it out of proportion, also if anyone else happens to suffer from the same confusion I hope the answers help.
