Invitation to join the Civilization Players League

Since cross-platform is now working I wish to invite serious players of this group interested in playing online to also join the Civilization Players League group. It is the most active Civilization community out there and I wholeheartedly support the Civilization 5 Mac Players meeting in their lobby for gaming against PC users.

Contact one of their administrators in the chat for proper registration (for ranking and team tournaments)

PreBigBanger is 100% right.... we had to re-start a MAC league... most of us spent nearly $100 on this game + all its DLC's just to get screwed over... There are so many games i would have bought but Steam caters to the PC users... I dont understand this...

Well, as of a week or so ago, Mac users can't play with PC'd again. I'm becoming reluctantly numb to this.

Dear Civilization V. You have taken my online game away from me and other MAC users for weeks and months at a time, multiple times, so that you could update PC users sooner than MAC users. It's like ripping the bottle from a baby. For me to say that I HATE you is an understatement. How about you get your act together and start updating both PC and MAC at the same time, instead of alienating MAC users?

Cross Platform NO LONGER WORKS . Also, @ littlisk... the games do lag, but I have had several great games with people who also have low pings and fast computers. Try playing with only live people, and don't add any A I players, because A I seems to lag the game. These are ideas collected by multiple players. Also turn on MULTIPLAYER AUTO END TURNS. And, limit the amount of times your computer is AUTO SAVING the game. These might help to speed up your online multiplayer games.
When MAC and PC can play together again, you will see many more games to choose from online. Of course, who knows if/when they will EVER fix it. What a complete RIPOFF !

I'd love to play online with other players but with the lag this game gets on just single player...

I think matches will have to be One City Challenges only.

Love to try out that 50 turn Iroquois rush on noobs. >:D
