Brunel University eSports - Society Setup Petition

Hi everyone,

This page has been quiet for a while now and that is mainly because I have been busy with Uni work and other commitments. I was disappointed that we did not participate in the NUEL tournament last year but I now feel like it is the right time to start an eSports society, I did briefly mention this idea last year and it was met with mixed opinions, I would like to see if you guys are interested and if its something you would consider putting your name down for in the set up petition. If you have any additional ideas on what this society could offer I would love to hear them.


To summerize the sort of benefits you would get from the society this would include:

• Free tournament admission
  
• eSports social events such as Major finals broadcasts
  
• Training servers and VOIP
  
• Possible LAN events (competing or visiting a professional LAN event)
  
• Other social events (what ever people want)

Each game would have its own committee member, they would be the organiser for that particular game. I would like to build the society based on what people want because I do not think the current societies really offer this kind of platform. I also realise that not everyone wants to play competitively, this society would be open to anyone interested in eSports whether you would take it seriously or whether you are a novice or if you are just interested in watching eSports.
