Historically, the British Empire group has been used for character and nation roleplays on Steam. However, the group has taken a different turn now. After laying dormant for some time, the development of a new game called Rulers of the Sea[www.rulersofthesea.com] began. The members of the Rulers of the Sea community that are planning to link themselves with Great Britain in the game sought to bring the community together for more indepth interaction. This group was made available for that distinct purpose.

Moving away from the historical purpose, BE is now home to the flock of players that intend to support Rulers of the Sea as the game continues to develop. This group will mirror certain features, systems, and mechanics that are going to be in the base game when it launches. These features, systems, and mechanics will be strictly based off of what we have learned from the game's development team so far. This group is not officially related to Rulers of the Sea, the development team, or their parent organization, Deadeye Games. This group is strictly members of the Rulers of the Sea Community coming together to connect and interact.
