.blend to .mdl File Converter?

I need to convert a Blender file to .mdl file so I can modify it on SFM. Anyone have a good converter or know a way? I'm using Blender 2.71 if that matters.

But, for some reason these tools might not work, i cannot convert blend. into smd.

oh, it does work, but I needed a .blend to .mdl, not .blend to .smd or .dmx. however, I think these will come in handy later, so thanks! i actually just watched HellJumper's recent tutorial that answered my question. Crowbar should work.
