The problem with setting material for hats.

Please tell me what went wrong.

The picture clearly shows a sharp shadow on the cap. All tried to set up the material in the blender, the shadow is exactly the same. How to make it smooth, as it should be in the fabric.
How would I set up the material - the shade does not change.
